| Working with the artist Maria Trott |
|
ABOUT ARTIST Both were given a push by family friend and noted Australian artist Arthur Murch. Maria spent many hours in his company during childhood years and he nourished her budding talent by teaching her to 'construct' a horse. Years of art college followed combining techniques of precise drawing and rendering that was required in a pre computer graphics industry. Hand drawn design and illustration has trained Maria to work in a manner which gives a solid grounding for the commission work in which she specializes. Nowadays Maria has a small studio inside her house. In it she has built up an enviable reputation as an equine artist and portrait painter. Maria's greatest sense of accomplishment comes from a client's reaction to a finished piece of commissioned artwork - which explains why , faced with having to choose between art and horses, this horse-mad woman would pursue art. Providing, of course, she is too old to ride. ©2009 KEEDESIGN Nov 2009 |
